...HIGH SURF ADVISORY FOR EAST FACING SHORES OF KAUAI OAHU
MOLOKAI MAUI AND THE BIG ISLAND...
.Strong trade winds over and upstream of the islands will continue to produce rough, elevated surf along east facing shorelines. East shore surf will decline this evening as trades weaken.
...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM HST THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...7 to 10 foot surf along east facing shores.
* WHERE...The east facing shores of Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Maui and the Big Island.
* WHEN...Until 6 PM HST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Moderate. Expect strong breaking waves, shore break, and strong longshore and rip currents making swimming difficult and dangerous.

Unmonitored lands and waters in the impact area described in the alert will also be impacted.
