...HIGH SURF ADVISORY FOR THE EAST FACING SHORES OF KAUAI...
OAHU...MOLOKAI...MAUI...AND THE BIG ISLAND...
.Strong, persistent trade winds will generate an east swell that, when combined with heightened wind waves, will produce advisory level surf along eastern exposed shorelines.
...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM HST SATURDAY...
* WHAT...Large breaking waves from 7 to 12 feet along east facing shorelines.
* WHERE...The east facing shores of Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Maui, and the Big Island.
* WHEN...Until 6 AM HST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Moderate. Expect strong breaking waves, shore break, and strong longshore and rip currents making swimming difficult and dangerous.

Warning Instruction:
Beachgoers, swimmers, and surfers should heed all advice given by
ocean safety officials and exercise caution.
Boaters should expect recreational surfers and body boarders
utilizing harbor channels to access surfing areas.

Unmonitored lands and waters in the impact area described in the alert will also be impacted.
